In recent years, the new energy industry has developed rapidly. As an important part of new energy, lithium batteries have ushered in rapid development. The demand for lithium battery electrolyte is increasing, and the demand for ton tanks for storing electrolyte is also increasing. The electrolyte ton tank is a recyclable packaging item. There are different names for electrolyte barrels in the industry, such as electrolyte tanks and lithium battery electrolyte turnover barrels.

The electrolyte has high requirements for the quality of electrolyte ton tanks, and the impurity requirements are at the part per million level (ppm level). Therefore, in order to achieve the purpose of recycling electrolyte barrels and ensuring the quality of electrolyte at the same time, the electrolyte barrels must be cleaned to reduce the impurity content in the electrolyte barrels and prevent the electrolyte from remaining in the barrels, which will affect the quality of the next batch of electrolyte.

In the past, the cleaning of electrolyte ton tanks was mostly done by water washing, that is, the residual liquid in the electrolyte ton tank was first squeezed out, and then the electrolyte barrel was disassembled, and the various parts and barrels of the electrolyte barrel were rinsed with high-purity water.
The disadvantages of the water-washed electrolyte tank process are that the electrolyte tank needs to be disassembled for cleaning, which is time-consuming, has low tank washing efficiency, high energy consumption and cost (using nitrogen, a large amount of high-purity water, and a drying room), and great harm to employees (organic solvents will evaporate during the process of disassembling the tank).
